we got started much later than we planned, as per usual. we slept late, and Jim had to go get the car's oil changed and get it a bath. While he did that, I fed and watered the aminals, and straightened the apartment so that coming home on Monday won't be overly tramatic. It's a weird mental thing. If I come home to a mess, the time away is wasted. By the time i got the cleaing done and was getting into the shower, Jim came home, we got packed and got on he road around 1:00. I had neglected to eat all morning, and we drove straight through to San Diego, checked in, and went to Seaport Village. By the time we had watched the sunset, a decided to eat, I was way beyond hungry, and nothing apealed to me. I also had a minor nuclear meltdown, because no food all day creates a grumpy Kelly. To put it mildly. We finally decided to go to Redfield's in the hotel lobby, where Jim pratically force-fed me a Barbecue Chicken Pizza and a slice of peanut-butter pie, after which we retired back to our room, where he took a nap and I watched Criminal Minds. We have obviously opted to pay the 9.95 for the 24 hours of tv internet, which takes care of my tech addiction, though I will say, this keyboard absolutly sucks. It can't keep with my typing, and I am by no means a speedy typist.

Jim would like me to tell you all that Pricline ROCKS. He got us a room at the San Diego Hyatt, for abou a third of the going rate. It's right on the water, next to Seaport Vilage, and the first thing I did upon entering was to fling open the curtains and discover that there was clipper ship out on the water. So cool!

Tomorrow, we go to SeaWorld, which is the main objective of our Anniversary trip. We might go to the gaslamp quarter after, and will go wine-tasting in Temecula on the way home on Monday. yay!

We are having dinner with Shamu tomorrow at five. Double yay!
