I dreamt that I was younger. Still lived at home. My mom was there, but it wasn't about her. Not really anyways.
I was going to the movies with a couple of friends. I realized we werent coming back afterwords. I needed clothes for the next day, my soccer uniform, a nightgown. I got packed up. Overpacked as usual. Two big duffles. Told my mom goodbye and went outside. The friends were gove. Now it was Trina and Dennis and the kids, and all of Joe and Susans kids for some reason. I helped get everyone and all their stuff in the car, everyone but me got in the car, and they drove away, not realizing I wasn't in the car maybe? They left me behind. I chased them down the street at that point, but quickly gave up, and walked back to the house. My grandmother was standing there in front of the open gaerage that had been half emptied out. Obviously the family was in the process of moving. The neighbors across the street came over and started rummaging through the garage. I did a little rummaging myself, but quickly returned to my grandmother. I dont remember much of the conversation, but I believe she assured me T and D would realize I wasn't there and come back for me soon. Then, I remember hugging her. She was short, but in the dream my head was tucked under her chin. I hugged her and hugged her, and said "thank you". Without even asking for what she said "Your Welcome".
I elaborated anyways. told her thank you for giving me my love of reading. It was one of the best things anyones ever given me.
That's the last I remember of it.
So the dream was not about mom, unless in a sense of leaving her behind.
But I got to have my gramma back for a minute. The real one who dissappeared years before her death.
Running late getting ready for work, but i had to get this down before it faded.
