Went to work.
At Jim's insistence I went to the college to see about registering for classes. Most classes are waitlisted. I will sign up on the wait list for Digital Imaging. I will definitely be signing up for the one open photo class which is a museaum fieldtrip course that only meets 5 time and only on Saturdays, starting Feb 2 and ending in April. At least it's something.
I could have done all the research from home and saved the trip. I won't say it was entirely wasted because I DID go to the counseling office and got them to fix whatever it was that was keeping me from signing up for Math 520. When I took the assessment tests I tested out of 520, which is pre-algebra, but I want a refresher before I take 410, Elementary Algebra, because math is NOT my strong point. Not that it mattered right now, because all of both of those classes are waitlisted. grrr. Same thing with English 1A. And the yoga class I had actually signed up for but forgot to pay for. I totally forgot to check on The sign language class.
While I was there and logged onto the system I checked my grades for last semester. The Prof never did email us our grades like she said she would. I got A's in both Photo 10 and Photo Lab. So with a grand total of three classes to my name at this point I have a 4.0 GPA.
After the college I grabbed a western bacon cheeseburger and a small rootbeer and ate that while en route to the hospital to visit Jim.
Did I mention the CT scan yesterday? The reults came in today and caused yet another procedure. A biopsy. I have not been able to talk to the Dr. as he comes in the morning while I am at work. Jim says the Dr. says it is "probably benign". Still scares the crap out of me.
As of tonight he's been in there a week. Once again the refrain is "I'll probably be released tomorrow".
Jim's mother arrived while I was there and we talked a bit and watched Jeopardy with him. We walked out together just before 8 so we wouldnt have to walk around the building. They close the lobby doors at 8 and then you have to exit through the ER.
Now I'm home and I managed to scrape up enough quarters to get two more loads of laundry done. STILL leaves a load of towels, a couple of blankets, my sarongs and my pink fluffy robe which is dirty from being worn at glen Ivy.
(I know this list is exactly the sort of trivia you all will share at the water cooler tomorow ;b)
Jim's sister-in-law asked me to take family portraits for her. Sometime after life settles down. Does that actually happen?
